Creation

Those eyes were watery and deep

But within they held the sun

Shining bright and pure

A sunset sparkling over the ocean

Tears of unadulterated light

Streamed down well worn cheeks

Gathering at the chin frozen in time

Falling effortlessly through the air

Before crashing violently to the ground

Creating puddles that shone like liquid fire

It was in these pools the future was perceived

Hazy dreamlike images of things to come

The wind rustled and shook the leaves

Forming a cacophony of sounds and voices

Vibrations creating a molecular chain reaction

Changing the air into a malevolent assault

An evil and dangerous presence in the world

Shaking even the deepest foundations

Until they could take it no longer

Collapsing upon themselves in agony

Down rained debris like rose petals

Shadowing the ground with anger and hate

As the darkness descended it grew deeper and darker

The entire world began to break under the weight

Canyons formed where fields ran free

Swallowing nature like a starving devil

Ravenous and unrelenting the world devoured itself

Slowly imploding into an everlasting void

An eternal nothingness which reigned forever

Towering over everything with arbitrary apathy

In a lake of light brilliant and blinding

The man who cried sun kissed tears stood

An island Eden surrounded by the oppressive hurricane

Wind whipped features weathering the storm

His ears holding ground in the symphony of screams

A once blue sky turned sickly grey without a soul to support it

It hid inside his hands of rough tree bark

The only safe sanctuary in a disintegrating world

Mud and blood filled the cracks in the Earth

Drowning what little life clung to the sides with effort

Finally the man with sunbeam tears had enough

Bass drum rhythm poured lazily from his mouth

Words in an ancient accent from a complex tongue

Simple sounds with epic repercussions for all that heard

The wounds upon the planet's face mended

Mountains of scabs grew and scarred the ground

Echoes of screams bounced between them before dying coldly

Nature reclaimed its kingdom of lush glory

Slowly his sunbeam pupils focused on the looming diseased shadow

His hands opened and the sky exploded in azure brilliance
